Mission


Our mission is to improve the lives of working families across New York State by gathering workforce intelligence that is used to develop programs in education and training, economic development, family support, disabled and dislocated worker services,and cultural enrichment.

    The WDI Trade Assistance Adjustment Outreach Forum was held in Albany on November 3rd. Seventy people attended presentations from the National Employment Law Project, the Working for America Institute, the NYS Department of Labor, the US Department of Commerce, the CSS WIB and workers directly affected by plant closings.
