Green Corner

WDI is a national leader in addressing climate change and the establishment of a clean energy economy by supporting the creation of "Green Jobs." WDI has been educating state and regional partners and established the NYS Apollo Alliance, bringing businesses, government, organized labor, environmentalists, educators and advocates for environmental justice together to participate in a consensus strategy. WDI is administrator of the NYS Apollo Alliance, the catalyst for continuing dialogue and development of regional alliances. WDI consults with government agencies and partners with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) & NYS Building and Construction Trades Council (BCTC) to train unionized workers in green construction skills.
